I just joined.. but there is my comment;
5 years ago everybody was knowing wages has %20 depending total incomes... but now appx %5... something going wrong.. Boss earn much more but mariners not...For improve seamans quality spend some for education ( as like building ships, build your crew )

Dear Miss Levien-Wynne & all,

Unfortunately many shipowners/operators consider the salaries more than qualification and experience of crew. Surely everybody accepts that crew quality is the most important factor of vessel's safe navigation and operations.On the other hand wage is the biggest element of running cost.
This dilemma never finish during young seamen' breakaway continues on the world.

Best regards,

Dear Ship Managers,

Being the CEO of a crewing company for almost a year, I have seen the salary war/competetion in the Philippines. Please help us to help you what quality of a crewing agency do you need. How do you trust crewing agents aside from being reliable, honest to both crew and principals/clients, updated knowlege and in compliance with international training of crew required by the world. Please help me improve our services by adding suggestion please. I will highly appreciate your comments.

Best regards and enjoy your everyday life, whatever you do, do not forget to smile. Thank you
